Q. what is the availability of the granary?

A. The Granary is available for rental between April 1st and November 30th each year.

Q. what is included in the venue rental package?

A. The package includes exclusive use of the Granary and grounds for 12 hours, including your ceremony plus one hour for a ceremony rehearsal prior to the event. It also includes, tables, chairs, patio furniture, ceremony arbor, a lawn game package, basic linens, complete access to our dressing rooms, and all set up and breakdown.

Q. How many people can the granary ACCOMMODATE?

A. The Granary can accommodate up to 250 people comfortably in a variety of table layouts with lots of extra space.

Q. Is a coordinator included in the venue rental?

A. Yes!

Note: Because wedding coordination is included in our package, we do not allow outside coordinators unless a couple is utilizing a full-service wedding planner. Please contact us for further information.

Q. What is the timing for a ceremony rehearsal?

A. A one-hour ceremony rehearsal will be scheduled on the Thursday prior to your event between 4 pm and 6 pm on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q. What is the timing for my wedding?

A. Your exclusive use begins at 11:00 AM and ends at 11:00 PM. Amplified music must be turned off at 10:00 PM and guests departed by 11:00 PM. The period from 10:00 pm – 11:00 pm is a designated strike/cleanup period for the venue, vendors, and clients. The bride and bridesmaids may access the dressing room at 11:00 AM. Due to our permit with the local government, we cannot operate outside the 12-hour timeframe, so early arrivals/late departures cannot be accommodated.

Q. How much time is allowed for set up and clean up?

A. Set up for your event may begin at 11:00 AM or later. All items must be removed the evening of the event unless other arrangements are agreed upon prior to the event. All rentals including tents need to be scheduled for removal by 10:00 AM the day after your event.

Q. can we bring our own decor?

A. You are welcome to bring any decor that is ready to place, and our staff can also assist with hanging small signs. Any decor requiring the use of large equipment or ladders must be done by a licensed, insured decorator.

**Please note that drapery and bistro lighting MUST be provided by Notting Hill Farm.

Q. Does notting hill farm provide catering or bar service?

A. We do provide bar services, to include the bartenders and catering is provided by our exclusive catering partner, Zambistro.

Q. Can we provide our own alcohol?

A. No, per New York State liquor law, all alcohol must be provided and served by Notting Hill Farm as holder of the liquor license.

Q. What type of music do you allow?

A. DJ or band, your choice. Notting Hill Farm has an in-house professional sound system for their use. All amplified music is limited to the indoor space. Wedding ceremonies may have speaker systems for voice/musical accompaniments.

 

Q. Is the granary climate controlled?

A. Yes, the Granary has both central air conditioning, radiant in-floor heating and heaters for the patio should they be needed. The kitchen, bathrooms, and dressing rooms are on a separate HVAC system for your ultimate comfort.

Q. Do you offer a military discount?

A. Yes, we are proud to offer the couple who are all active, reserve, and veteran military a 5% discount off of the venue rental fee.
